LegendaryLAN now has a permanent CS server up and available!  You may see groups of us using it from time to time - please feel free to jump in and join us!  Over time we will be adding more bells and whistles, as right now it is fairly basic with a stock map rotation.  Enjoy!

Since Counterstrike Source is such a fan favorite with our gaming group, I thought it was abundantly necessary to point out this item of news.  It appears that Valve will be releasing a large dose of additional and/or new content for CS in the first part of 2012!

A company named Euclidian based in Australia recently released a demo and promotional video for some technology they have been working on for several years.  If this is for real, it seems like it could be a major leap forward in gaming, similar to what we saw in the late 90's with the jump from 2D to 3D.  Check it out - what do you think, potential 'lightning in a bottle' or overly hyped, non-practical gimmick?

Apparently a group of fans is putting together an independent film based on Half-Life 2 - and they look to be doing an amazing job of it with virtually no budget!  The main character in this trailer (Shepherd) is the same guy you play as in the original Hal-Life's expansion - Opposing Force.  Check it out!
